Jermuk Cable Car to be Restored Soon, Says Mayor
The area adjacent to the cable car in Jermuk is being renovated, and the cable car itself (which was damaged during the September aggression and has already been repaired once) will be restored soon. This information was shared on Facebook by Jermuk Mayor Vahagn Aleksanyan.
He also announced that a monument in memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the Artsakh War is being built near the cable car. Furthermore, the construction of the Freedom Fighters Park in the left-bank neighborhood, which will include a playground, benches, trash bins, and appropriate lighting, is nearing completion.
“The park located in the center of Jermuk is also being improved and will soon become the Vazgen Sargsyan Park,” promised the mayor.
It is noted that the promenade leading from the “Olympia” health resort to the drinking hall is being renovated, where uniform trade pavilions will also be installed.
It is important to remember that Jermuk, the resort town, was one of the communities most affected by Azerbaijan's September aggression in 2022.
