Bayramov Receives Igor Khovaev: Discussion Highlights Revealed
On May 12, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Igor Khovaev, the special representative of the Russian Foreign Minister for the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
During the meeting, the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, negotiations around a peace treaty, and the prevailing situation in the region were discussed. Bayramov once again accused Armenia of allegedly causing tension in the region.
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that ensuring peace and stability in the region is extremely important, and the Russian side is ready to provide any support in this direction.
Throughout the meeting, the parties exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
