Dubai Aviation Authority Again Prohibits Landing of Armenian Aircraft
The Dubai Aviation Authority has prohibited the landing of an aircraft operated by "FlyOne Armenia" serving the Yerevan-Dubai flight. The aircraft is currently returning to Yerevan after being redirected to Iran. This was confirmed by Aram Ananyan, chairman of the airline's board, in an interview with NEWS.am.
"The aircraft landed in Iran, remained there for a few hours, and is now on its way back to Yerevan with 37 passengers on board. It will be here in a few hours," Ananyan noted.
According to Ananyan, the airline had all necessary permissions and documentation for the flight. "We had all the required documents without exception. The reason for the prohibition is something we shouldn't comment on; it is up to the rejecting party. They have not stated the reason. We have informed everyone and are trying to obtain complete information regarding why our landing was not permitted," Ananyan stated.
