The Vice-President of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan today, in the "Victory" Park, refused to answer journalists' questions regarding his visit to Washington as a special representative for normalizing relations with Turkey and his participation in the negotiations on the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations. "I will not answer your question," he stated.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, also declined to respond to journalists' inquiries. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had previously announced in the National Assembly that Rubinyan's participation in these negotiations was due to his political decision. Opposition figures argue that this indicates a connection between the Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani processes, suggesting that this was one of Turkey's preconditions.
