Video: The Purpose of Escalation is to Nullify the Negotiation Process, Says Pashinyan

Today, on May 11, during a government meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the gunfire occurring in Sotk. He stated, "These actions by Azerbaijan are provocative and aim to nullify the progress achieved through the Washington negotiations. Today's provocation is intended to disrupt the trilateral talks planned in Brussels and the five-party format in Chișinău."

The Prime Minister emphasized that Azerbaijan only needs the negotiation process as a pretext for war, and escalations are exclusively used to negate any progress made during the talks.

It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire with artillery and mortars on Armenian positions located in the direction of Sotk starting at 06:00 on May 11.
