Poland to Become Europe's Next Superpower
Poland is set to become Europe's next superpower and could economically surpass Great Britain by 2030, according to The Telegraph.
This is attributed to the country's military capabilities and a significant increase in defense spending, which will double that of other EU countries. Poland is leveraging its economy to create a powerful military force and plans to expand its army to 300,000 troops equipped with the latest Western technology.
According to the publication, the country aims to enhance its military capabilities and achieve the best ground combat readiness among all NATO European members.
Furthermore, Poland not only seeks to deter Russia but also to exert pressure on Germany. Earlier, media reported that Poland intends to seek compensation from Moscow following the receipt of reparations from Berlin. This statement was made by Marcin Przydacz, head of the International Bureau of the Prime Minister's Office of Poland.
