Video: Istanbul Mayor Pelted with Stones During Rally in Turkey; Injuries Reported

During a rally in Turkey, citizens threw stones at the speech of Istanbul's mayor. Reports indicate that 17 people were injured, including children. The incident also resulted in broken windows of the party's bus.

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu stated that he does not hold the residents of Erzurum responsible for the incident, but he plans to sue the Erzurum provincial governor who organized the event. İmamoğlu remarked that the police did not respond appropriately to the incident. He also intends to visit the hospital to see the injured.
