Ursula von der Leyen to Visit Kyiv on May 9
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will travel to Kyiv on May 9 to show support for Ukraine. This was reported by Le Monde, citing Eric Mamer, the head of the Commission's press service.
“The visit will focus on all aspects of our relationship with Ukraine. You have certainly noticed that this visit will take place on Europe Day,” Mamer said, referring to the annual pan-European celebration.
This marks Ursula von der Leyen's fifth visit to Kyiv since the beginning of military operations on February 24 of last year.
