Peskov Comments on Ukrainian Intelligence Chief's Statement about 'Killing Russians'

Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, has commented on the threats and attempts made by the head of Ukraine's Military Intelligence (GUR), Kyrylo Budanov, to 'kill Russians'. This was reported by gazeta.ru.

Peskov emphasized that this is a 'monstrous statement' that 'directly confirms' that the Kyiv regime is 'not only a sponsor but also an organizer of terrorism'.

'We strongly condemn such statements,' said Peskov. He also noted that Russian special services 'will take necessary measures' to investigate the assassination attempt against Prilepin.

Furthermore, Moscow will be closely monitoring the reactions from European capitals 'and especially Washington' regarding these events. It is difficult to imagine that such a thing could go uncondemned, the Kremlin spokesman stated. According to him, Budanov's statement 'once again confirms the accuracy of Putin's decision to launch a special operation'.
