Prigozhin: 'They Promised to Provide Enough Weapons as Needed'

The founder of the private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has stated that they have been promised an adequate supply of weapons and ammunition necessary to continue operations in Artemovsk. This information was reported by vedomosti.ru.

According to him, Wagner has been informed that they can operate in Artemovsk as deemed necessary and that they are providing Surikov as the person who will make all decisions within the scope of Wagner’s combat operations.

Recall that Prigozhin had previously announced that Wagner fighters would leave Artemovsk on May 10 due to a lack of weapons and significant personnel losses. Later, he confirmed the willingness to hand over positions in Artemovsk to the 'Akhmat' special forces units in response to a similar proposal from Chechnya's leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
