Ceasefire Regime Violation Reported in Askeran Region: Russian Defense Ministry
A ceasefire regime violation has been recorded in the Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
"There are no casualties reported. The command of the Russian peacekeeping forces is conducting an investigation into the incident together with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides," the statement reads.
It is noted that Russian peacekeepers are carrying out round-the-clock monitoring of the situation at thirty observation posts and ensuring compliance with the ceasefire regime. Patrols have been conducted along three routes in the regions of Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi.
Additionally, a humanitarian cargo was transported to Stepanakert by a convoy of Russian peacekeeping forces.
It is worth recalling that today marks the 140th day of the blockade of Artsakh.
