Kremlin Responds to Prigozhin's Statement on Withdrawal from Bakhmut
The Kremlin spokesperson announced awareness of the imminent exit of the Wagner Group from Bakhmut, but refrained from commenting on the matter as it pertains to the conduct of military operations.
As previously reported, Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin released a video showing rows of Wagner soldiers' bodies, subsequently cursing the leadership of the Russian regular army. In the video, he stated that on May 10, 2023, they would hand over their positions to units of the Ministry of Defense, citing a lack of weapon supplies as the reason.
