VIDEO: If Alexanyan Participates in Conference on Livestock Rights, Questions Will Arise
If there is an international conference discussing the rights of livestock animals and, for instance, Mr. Alexanyan respectfully participates in that discussion, a question will arise: what relation does a member of the Security Issues Committee have with the rights of livestock animals? This was stated today, on May 2, from the podium of the National Assembly by Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction.
'Now, the person who specializes in Armenian-Turkish negotiations is participating in negotiations regarding Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. A logical question arises: why? Does this not imply that Azerbaijani-Armenian relations and Turkish-Armenian relations are interconnected based on Turkish demands? It is clear, isn’t it? Now, to stand up and say, 'Rubinyan is the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, that’s why he went there, because we are a parliamentary state.' Mr. Arshakyan, you would have gone too; you are also a Vice Speaker of the National Assembly,' said Khachatryan.
National Assembly Vice Speaker Hakob Arshakyan also responded: 'The National Assembly currently has two Vice Speakers, and it is the NA President who decides who goes. Yes, I could have gone too; what’s the issue?'
