Ceasefire Violation in Artsakh: Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported a violation of the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.

It is noted that the Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out their missions in the area. Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation around the clock at thirty observation posts and ensuring compliance with the ceasefire regime.

“One violation of the ceasefire regime was recorded in the Martakert region. There are no casualties,” the department stated in its update on May 2.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces is conducting an investigation into this incident with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides.
