Zelensky Presents New Drafts for Extension of Martial Law and Mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has presented drafts on the extension of martial law and mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada.
According to РИА Новости, it is not yet clear for how long the extensions are proposed, and there are currently no explanatory notes regarding the projects.
In Ukraine, the operation of martial law and general mobilization was previously extended for 90 days on February 6, 2023. Fox News had earlier reported that the Kyiv regime is preparing for the largest mobilization in the country, which will significantly exceed that of last autumn.
As noted by The Washington Post, the increasing pace of mobilization in Ukraine is sowing panic among local residents.
