US State Department on Pashinyan-Blinken Phone Call
The US State Department has issued a statement regarding the phone call between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The statement specifically noted: “Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, emphasizing the importance of negotiations for peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and reaffirming the United States' continued support. Secretary Blinken reiterated that direct dialogue and diplomacy are the only paths to sustainable peace in the South Caucasus. He expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s ongoing commitment to the peace process.”
