If Such a Decision is Made, Russians Will Suffer: Zakharova

The Russian Federation has the right to sever diplomatic relations with Poland, but Russians will suffer as a result. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during the broadcast of the program 'Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov' on 'Rossiya 1' TV channel.

Moscow has the right to break diplomatic relations with Poland following an incident involving a school, but if such a decision is made, it will be the Russians who will bear the consequences.

‘We always want to act emotionally, impulsively, and most importantly, we have that right,’ she said in response to a related question, pointing out that Poland has been engaged in provocations for decades.

It should be noted that on April 29, representatives of the Warsaw city hall, along with law enforcement, stormed the territory of the Russian embassy school's premises. Employees of the diplomatic mission and the school refused to voluntarily open the gates, after which Polish authorities began to break down the doors.
