“We Are Ready for the Offensive”: Ukraine's Defense Minister Awaits Command Decision

Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced on Friday that Ukraine is ready for an offensive, with troops awaiting a decision from command. The information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Preparation for the counter-offensive is nearing completion. Besides receiving weapons, our servicemen need to be able to operate military equipment. We have received quite modern weapons, such as Leopard-2, Challenger, and Abrams tanks, but I believe that the Abrams tanks will not be ready in time for this counter-offensive. The equipment has been partially delivered. Overall, we are ready for an offensive,” Reznikov stated during a press briefing.

He added that the Ukrainian forces are only waiting for a decision from command. “We are ready as soon as it is the will of God, the weather permits, and we receive a command decision,” emphasized the Defense Minister.
