New Commander General-Lieutenant Lentsov to Meet Papikyan in Artsakh Today
The new commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, General-Lieutenant Alexander Lentsov, is set to arrive in Yerevan today and will meet with the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, in the coming hours, as reported by a source from the Russian Ministry of Defense to Sputnik Armenia.
It is noteworthy that General-Lieutenant Alexander Lentsov was appointed commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent on April 25, replacing Major-General Andrey Volkov. Prior to this role, Lentsov served as an advisor to the Russian Minister of Defense.
