Charges Filed Against 756 Individuals for Desertion
During the 44-day war, a total of 756 individuals have been charged for voluntarily abandoning their military units or places of service, as reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia regarding a statement made by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister, about 11,000 deserters.
It is noted that earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia did not comment on the statement made by the Prime Minister's wife.
