Syria's Foreign Ministry Demands Compensation from the USA
Syria's Foreign Ministry has issued a statement calling on the international community to put an end to the systematic plundering of its natural resources by the United States and its affiliated warlords. This information was reported by TASS.
"Syria condemns the actions of the US occupying forces and demands compensation for the economic damage caused by the illegal export of oil from the mining sites in the northeast of the country," the agency's statement reads.
The statement further adds that "the plundering of natural resources belonging to the Syrian people contravenes international humanitarian law, leading to the impoverishment and suffering of citizens."
