Margara Checkpoint Area Transferred to the Control of the State Revenue Committee
The area of the Margara village checkpoint has been transferred to the control of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia. This has been reported by Sputnik Armenia.
The State Revenue Committee requested the council of the Artashat community to hand over the real estate located in the village of Margara, which is considered community property, as a donation to the Committee.
According to the information provided by the Artashat Community Municipality (since the village of Margara is part of the Artashat community), the decision to transfer the area to the State Revenue Committee was made back on February 17. However, the necessary paperwork and approvals still needed to be completed.
The process was finalized at the end of March.
“I inform you that on March 30, 2023, the real estate located at the (transitional point) in the village of Margara, Artashat community of Armavir province, and the land necessary for its use and maintenance were legally established with notarization to the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia. The State Revenue Committee has received the certificates of state registration of rights to real estate from the Cadastre Committee of Armenia,” the statement reads.
When asked when the Margara checkpoint would be ready for operation, the Committee responded that the work is in the initial phase.
