Pashinyan Responds to Aliyev's Statement
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has responded to the statement of the Azerbaijani leader, and I assess that Azerbaijan continues its provocative actions. On the other hand, I note that the purpose of the provocation is to escalate the situation,” said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press briefing with journalists in the National Assembly today, April 20, while addressing the statements made by Azerbaijani President Aliyev the day before.
“We will calmly move forward with our politically balanced assessments,” Pashinyan added.
It is noteworthy that Aliyev stated that the Armenian leader should declare, “Karabakh is Azerbaijan, and that’s it,” and also mentioned that the Armenians of Karabakh must either acquire Azerbaijani citizenship or seek another place to live.
