Does Putin Have a Doppelgänger? Peskov Commented
The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, described remarks by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, about President Vladimir Putin having a doppelgänger as "very strange."
During a press briefing, a journalist asked Peskov to comment on Danilov's statements claiming that Putin did not visit Kherson, but rather his double went there instead. In response, Peskov stated that the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine was "very strange."
Earlier, Budanov had told the Daily Mail in an interview that Vladimir Putin uses at least three doubles who have undergone plastic surgery to resemble the Russian president. In 2020, Putin himself told TASS that the idea of having a doppelgänger emerged in the early 2000s.
