Ceasefire Violation Reported in Martuni Region: Russian Defense Ministry

A ceasefire violation has been recorded in the Martuni region. No casualties have been reported. The command of the Russian peacekeeping forces is conducting an investigation into the incident in cooperation with both Azerbaijani and Armenian authorities. This information comes from a report by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It was noted that peacekeepers continue to work together with the general staffs of the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces to ensure security and prevent possible incidents.

The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out its tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. Representatives of the Russian peacekeeping force have conducted patrols along three routes in the regions of Martakert and Martuni, as well as in the Lachin corridor.

Additionally, the escort of a humanitarian aid convoy along the Goris-Stepanakert route has been secured.
