What Should Tigran Avinyan Do to Avoid Criticism? Should He Just Sit Idly?
As the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, I am doing the work that I am obligated to do. In an interview with 'Azatutyun', Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan stated: 'The authorities must take responsibility and implement programs, while the opposition must identify the gaps in those programs or highlight the issues that the authorities are unable to resolve. If I am criticized for doing my job well, I believe that is very weak criticism.'
When asked by the journalist whether the situation is fair to other candidates, Avinyan replied: 'What should Tigran Avinyan do to avoid criticism? Should he just sit idly and do nothing? I am doing the work that I am obligated to do. Direct your criticism at me only when I step out of my responsibilities.'
