Work at Sotk Mine Halted, Employees Evacuated

The enemy has also begun firing in other parts of the border, particularly in the Vardenis area. Sources from the Sotk mine indicate that operations at the mine have been suspended and employees have been evacuated from the area. This was reported by the newspaper "Haykakan Jamanak."

The Geopromining company confirmed the information, stating, "Around 5:15 PM, firing began. The company has halted operations at the Sotk mine and evacuated its employees for their safety."

It should be recalled that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia issued a statement noting, "Azerbaijani armed forces continue provocations. Azerbaijani army units applied mortar fire in the same direction around 5:30 PM. Our units are taking necessary defensive measures. The Ministry of Defense will issue additional statements."
