In a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly, Andranik Kocharian, the chairman of the Assembly's Defense and Security Committee, addressed the Azerbaijani incursion into Armenian territory that occurred the previous day, stating that search efforts are ongoing to locate others.

When asked how they were able to penetrate 20 km into Armenian territory, he responded: "Do you imagine the border as a door that was simply opened? The border stretches over a long length, with ravines that can be crossed. Why don't you ask if these individuals came to conduct some operation, or did they flee from the military unit located in the Nakhchivan area?"
