Work on Peace Treaty with Armenia is Not Going Smoothly: Aliyev
Work on the peace treaty with Armenia is not going as smoothly as desired, but Azerbaijan aims to regulate relations with Yerevan. This was announced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a press conference after a meeting with Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
“I informed my colleague (the President of Kazakhstan) about the current state of the negotiation process. We are determined to resolve our relations. Azerbaijan initiated the work on the peace treaty, which is in a practical phase and has already started, but it is not going as smoothly as we would like,” said Aliyev.
