Azerbaijan Would Struggle to Take Artsakh Without Drones, Cavusoglu
During the opening of the electoral coordination center of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Afyonkarahisar, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu spoke about the production of combat drones while also referring to the 44-day war over Artsakh. This was reported by Ermenihaber.am.
“Today, Turkey has increased national and local production in the defense industry to 80 percent. If we had not reached that figure, if we had not produced combat drones, or various land, anti-air, and attack systems, including helicopters, Azerbaijan would have struggled to take Artsakh,” he stated.
He also emphasized that Turkey will continue to develop its domestic defense industry, striving to be minimally dependent on other countries.
