German MP Calls Scholz a Liar

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced joint tank deliveries with the United States to Ukraine, while only Germany has supplied Leopard tanks to Kyiv. This has misled the German public, says Bundestag member Sevim Dagdelen.

“Under pressure from the U.S., the federal government supplied Leopard tanks to Ukraine, after which the U.S. itself announced that the previously promised ‘Abrams’ tank deliveries could not be implemented. Thus, Chancellor Olaf Scholz has misled the public by speaking about the supplies of American and German tanks,” stated Sevim Dagdelen.

Washington promised to deliver 31 Abrams tanks to Kyiv, but later the delivery of the equipment was postponed until the end of the year or the beginning of 2024.
