Video: The Patrol Police Will Soon Be Composed Only of Women, Says Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that they have entered the final phase of establishing the Patrol Police. According to him, training sessions will begin in the coming days in the regions of Armavir, Ararat, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik for the implementation of the Patrol Police.
Pashinyan stated that an initial goal was set to ensure that at least 30% of the personnel involved in the Patrol Police would be women. “At this moment, this issue has not been resolved, but we will not be discouraged and will not deviate from this agenda. In the coming days, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will announce new recruitment for the Patrol Police, exclusively for women. This means that in the near future, we plan to fill the vacancies arising in the Patrol Police only with women,” he said.
