Seven Rockets Fired Towards Israeli Communities Near Gaza

This morning, early missile attacks of the ground-to-air class were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli communities near the border. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, out of the seven rockets, two were fired towards the Mediterranean Sea, while the remainder targeted Israel. The reports suggest that the missiles likely intended to strike aircraft belonging to the Israeli Air Force present in the area.

As a result of the rocket launches, several Israeli communities sounded alarms, instructing residents to take shelter in secure locations. No reports of injuries or damage have been indicated yet.

The Times of Israel recalls that on the evening of April 5, two rockets were fired from Gaza, one of which failed to cross the border while the other landed in an open area. Shortly after, new clashes began near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, leading to unrest in Gaza and the Arab communities in Israel.
