VIDEO: "Alen Simonian Spit in the Eye of Citizen Who Called Him a Traitor," Hayk Mamijanyan

A confrontation occurred today in Cascade involving the President of the National Assembly Alen Simonian. During a Facebook live broadcast, opposition MPs Hayk Mamijanyan and Aspram Krpeyan reported that a repatriate, Karen Mkrtchyan, shouted "traitor" upon seeing Alen Simonian.

“Following that, Alen Simonian instructed his bodyguards to grab the young man’s arms. Afterwards, Alen Simonian personally approached the young man, shouted insults, and taking advantage of the situation where the young man was restrained, he spat in the young man's eye,” Mamijanyan explained.

Auroranews reached out to the press secretary of the National Assembly President, Tsovinara Khachatryan, to confirm the details, who stated, “I am not aware, I do not comment.”
