Reserve Field Adjacent to 'Hrazdan' to be Taken from Ashot Aghababyan of 'Bournash'
The State Committee of Cadastre has decided to 'seize' the reserve field adjacent to the 'Hrazdan' stadium from businessman and former Republican Party MP Ashot Aghababyan (of 'Bournash'). He has been using it under rent for years. This has been reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'.
The court has made such a decision. Ashot Aghababyan stated in an interview with the newspaper: 'We had taken it on lease. War, coronavirus... we didn’t pay the rent, the state property went to court, and the court has decided that it’s not ours. Uh, inexperienced young people want to seize this field, not understanding that the stadium will lose its international value without the reserve field and it won’t operate as they would like.'
It is noteworthy that former MP Ashot Aghababyan was the general director of the 'Hrazdan' sports complex from 1993 to 1999 and since 1999, has been the chairman of the Board of Directors of 'Hrazdan Sports Complex V.D.' LLC.
