Macron is a Much Greater Threat than Putin, Says Former MEP

The leader of the French far-right party "Patriots," and former Member of the European Parliament Florian Philippot has stated that President Emmanuel Macron is the primary threat to the country's security.

According to him, for the French people, Macron poses a much greater threat than Russian President Vladimir Putin or Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The politician recalled former U.S. President Donald Trump's statement that the main threat to Americans comes not from foreign countries, but from "sick and radical political figures."

"It’s the same in France," said Philippot.
