Azerbaijanis Open Fire on Civilians Working in Pomegranate Field: Artsakh Interior Ministry
The Artsakh Interior Ministry reports: “Fire has been opened from Azerbaijani military positions toward civilian individuals working in a pomegranate field.
On March 27 at 11:30 AM, Alyosha Zakaryan, the chief specialist of the State Inspection Committee for the Martakert region, reported to the regional police department that on March 26, sporadic gunfire was directed at them from the enemy in the administrative territory of the city of Martakert.
The police investigators have established that on the same day, around 11:30 AM, while conducting agricultural work in the pomegranate field belonging to the State Inspection Committee in the administrative territory of Martakert, random gunfire was unleashed from Azerbaijani military positions towards the workers. No one was injured. Agricultural work has been suspended. The police have passed this information to the Russian peacekeeping forces.”
