Arab Partners Are Convinced This Conflict Has No Religious Aspect: Mirzoyan
During his recent visit to Egypt, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan noted that he participated in a ministerial-level meeting of the League of Arab States. He stated that Armenia has maintained traditional warm and friendly relations with Arab countries since declaring independence and continues to do so today.
“The visit was a great opportunity to present our vision regarding the developments in the region in the presence of Arab foreign ministers in one room and to address one or two important issues. You know that recently the authorities of Azerbaijan have been trying to add extra nuance to everything that is happening and has happened in our region, referring to a religious angle. During this visit, we were able to thoroughly present and explain to our partners. I can assure you that Arab partners share the same understanding that all the issues regarding Azerbaijan have absolutely no religious aspect,” said Mirzoyan.
