Discontented Parisians, unhappy with pension reforms, have burned a poster of the French president. Police were stoned during attempts to intervene, and law enforcement deployed tear gas. The clashes resulted in a new wave of rioting and arrests.

It is worth noting that authorities will begin raising the retirement age by three months each year starting September 1, 2023. As a result, in 2030, the age will reach 64 years, up from the current 62.
