We Must Fight in Bakhmut as Long as We Physically Can: Ukrainian Foreign Minister

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to battle in Bakhmut, as the loss of the city would jeopardize other settlements under Kyiv's control. "We must fight in Bakhmut as long as we physically can," said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with the BBC.

He noted that the situation in Bakhmut remains emotionally very heavy due to the losses sustained by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Currently, the fiercest fighting is taking place in Bakhmut.

Earlier, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Russian private military company Wagner, reported that Russian forces have established control over the eastern part of Bakhmut, and the battles continue.
