Brawl at Gyumri Restaurant During Celebration of QP Officials
A brawl occurred yesterday at the "Parvana" restaurant in Gyumri, where representatives of the city government from the ruling Civil Contract party attended a celebration. This was reported by Aravot.am, citing its sources.
According to the report, the event was to celebrate the birthday of Narek Begzadyan, assistant to the first deputy mayor of Gyumri, Arthur Papikyan, while also marking the appointment of dentist Vahagn Mkrtchyan, a relative of Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan, as deputy mayor of Gyumri.
According to Aravot.am's information, the altercation started among the QP officials themselves when the restaurant management attempted to intervene, leading to arguments between them and the management. There are reports that during the fight, one participant was threatened with a knife.
In a conversation with Auroranews.am, the police's press office stated that no complaint had been received.
