Disappointing that the State Department Publicly Excluded Sanctions Against Azerbaijan, Says US Congressman
“The US State Department rightly called on Aliyev to end the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor, but it is disappointing that he publicly excluded the application of sanctions against Azerbaijan. All options should remain on the table as long as Aliyev fails to stop his abuses and respects international law,” said US Congressman Frank Pallone.
It should be noted that today marks the 89th day of the blockade of the Lachin corridor.
