Traffic Police Officer Injured in Hit-and-Run Near Government Summer Houses

At around 18:10, a 36-year-old resident of Syunik, Alik B., hit a traffic police officer while driving his Kia at the intersection of Demirchyan and Proshyan streets, near the entrance to the government summer houses. The incident involved 31-year-old Ludvig H., an officer from the traffic police unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, who was performing his duties at the location. The driver did not flee the scene and assisted in transporting the injured officer to the hospital with the help of emergency medical personnel who arrived promptly.

The driver underwent a sobriety test and was found to be sober.
