Earthquake in Turkey: Underground Shocks Persist
The underground shocks in Turkey continue unabated. The southeastern province of Hatay, bordering Syria, has been shaken yet again.
According to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, an earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitude occurred in the Defne district of Hatay province in southeastern Turkey at a depth of 7.4 kilometers on the night of March 6-7. This was reported by Ermenihaber.
It is noteworthy that earlier on March 6, an earthquake of 4.1 magnitude also struck the Arsuz region of Hatay at a depth of 7 kilometers.
