US and EU Representatives in Baku
In the South Caucasus, in addition to the EU Special Representative Toivo Klaar, the US State Department's chief negotiator for South Caucasus affairs, Luis Bono, is also in Baku, as reported by the US Embassy in Baku.
The State Department representative will meet with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and other officials from the republic to promote the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The American diplomat will also visit Armenia and Georgia.
