A Fortress Discovered on Mount Hatis: MoU Signed Between the Ministry of Education and the Tsarukyan Foundation

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia and the Gagik Tsarukyan Charitable Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the archaeological study, reinforcement, and restoration of a newly discovered fortress on Mount Hatis in the Kotayk region of Armenia.

The MoU was signed by Deputy Minister Alfred Kocharyan on behalf of the Ministry, and by authorized representative Arayik Kesoyan for the Tsarukyan Foundation.

This memorandum aims to emphasize the importance of cultural heritage and the necessity of passing it on to future generations, while supporting the restoration and utilization of historical and cultural monuments.

Deputy Minister Alfred Kocharyan expressed confidence that their collaborative efforts will benefit the preservation and promotion of the monument. Both parties reaffirmed their readiness to fulfill the obligations set forth in the memorandum.
