Russia Will Have to Remove Western Threat from Its Borders, Shoigu Discusses Preconditions

The extent to which Russia will have to remove the western threat from its borders depends on the type of weapons that will be supplied to Ukraine.

This information was disclosed by Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu during an appearance on the ‘Moscow. Kremlin. Putin’ program on the ‘Rossiya 1’ television channel, a segment of which was published by Pavel Zarubin on his Telegram channel.

“It depends on the weapons that will be provided (to Kyiv by the West),” Shoigu stated. Earlier, in his address to the Federation Council, Russian President Vladimir Putin remarked that “the more long-range Western systems enter Ukraine, the further we will have to remove the threat from our borders.”
