Russia Will Host Platform for Tripartite Peace Agreement Signing, Says Zakharova
During a briefing today, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that Russia's special representative Igor Khovaev had confirmed Armenia and Azerbaijan's interest in signing a peace agreement under Russia's mediation following his visits to both countries.
She deemed Khovaev's trip to the capitals of the two nations beneficial and reiterated Moscow's willingness to organize a tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of the three countries.
Zakharova also mentioned that Lavrov plans to visit Azerbaijan at the end of February.
