New Earthquake Hits Turkey Again
A new earthquake has been recorded in Turkey, according to Turkish media reports. A magnitude 4.9 tremor was registered in Malatya. It is noted that this is most likely an aftershock following the earthquake that occurred on February 6.
Recall that on that day, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 was recorded in southeastern Turkey. The natural disaster has claimed tens of thousands of lives in Turkey and Syria. Since the initial earthquake, more than 120 aftershocks have been reported.
