Rescue Teams Free 147 Vehicles and 279 Citizens from Blockage
On February 8, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 18 calls regarding vehicles blocked in various regions of the republic. In particular, instances were reported in the following areas: Abovyan and Jermuk in Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor provinces, Marmashen in Shirak province, Verin Khotanan, Sarnakunk, and various roads including Talin-Karmrashen, Zar-Zovashen, Ashotsk-Tavushut, Sisian-Vayk, Sisian-Goris, Getap-Martuhi, Sotk-Mets Masrik, and Artashat-Hatsavan.
Rescuers arriving at the scene managed to free 147 vehicles from blockage and provide necessary assistance to 279 citizens.
